Connected Collective (“CC,” “we,” “us”) runs connectedcollective.cc. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you join CC through the form on our Join page.
- Messages you send us, including your email address and anything you include.
- Visit data. Our host, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP addresses and browser type to deliver and protect the site, and gives us visit counts in total. We don’t run advertising or social-media tracking scripts.
How we use it
- To send the emails you asked for: guide launches, new bundles and occasional updates.
- To reply to your messages.
- To understand, in total, which pages are useful, and to keep the site secure.
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
Services we use
- Kit stores your email address and sends our emails. See Kit’s privacy policy.
- Cloudflare hosts and protects the site and counts visits. Cloudflare’s own privacy policy applies to the data it processes.
Cookies
CC doesn’t set its own cookies. The signup form is provided by Kit, and Kit or Cloudflare may use cookies needed to run the form or protect the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Links to other sites
When we link to a brand’s site, that site’s own privacy policy applies. If we start using affiliate links, we will update this policy and say so clearly on the pages that use them.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email.
- See, correct or delete your data by emailing privacy@connectedcollective.co.
If you are in the EU or UK, you have rights under the GDPR, including access, correction, deletion, portability and objection. If you live in California, you have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know and the right to delete. Email us to use any of them.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Keeping data safe
We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes above, and we use reasonable measures to protect it. No online service is completely secure.
Changes
We will post changes here with a new date, and email subscribers about any material change.
